Mawdsleys is truly one of Lancashire`s best kept secrets, hidden away in the rural settings of Mawdsley Village, The hotel has had a long standing reputation for hospitality, service and outstanding food, which would be the perfect compliment to your wedding day.

Designed for your comfort the site holds many attractions such as our health and beauty salon, leisure club including the swimming pool, jacuzzi & sauna and the Med restaurant and bar.

There are two functions rooms available for weddings:
  • The Wicker Room is a modern open plan room which comprises of a dance floor area and bar. Outside and around the Wicker Room there is a verandah for guest`s enjoyment during warm days and summer evenings. Part of the Wicker Room is solemnised for weddings ceremonies. The capacity is up to 100 persons sat down for your wedding breakfast and up to 170 persons for your evening celebration.
  • The Tudor Room has a traditional décor for that `old worlde` ambiance. It has a dance floor area together with its own bar and is situated within the original complex which was formerly a basket works. Depending upon your chosen wedding breakfast layout the appropriate seating capacity will be approximately 75 persons. For an evening celebration the capacity is further extended to approximately 120 persons.
The Wedding Package
We have put together a special package that will hopefully simplify the huge number of choices that might be available to you. Our wedding package includes standard items:
  • White table linen
  • Use of the cake stand and knife
  • Complimentary room hire
Also included are:
  • Complimentary Honeymoon Suite for the night of the Wedding Ceremony
  • Special overnight accommodation rates for wedding guests at £80.00 per double room and £60.00 per single room. These prices include breakfast and use of the leisure club facilities.
  • White Linen Serviette
  • Food and Beverage Package (from our Wedding &Banqueting Menus)
Package price £35.00 per person.

Both the Wicker and Tudor Rooms are available for parties of 45 and over. For smaller parties we have the Med Room which is also solemnised for wedding ceremonies.
